Speaking of target marketing by Honda, I am curious how many of the members of this list received the "Starter button" mailer from Honda when the S2000 was introduced. For those who have not seen it, it is an ad for the S2000 that included a computer chip and speaker such that when you press the center of the package (which has the starter button printed there), you hear the sound of the engine coming to life.

I got one...

All I have anymore is the circuit and speaker. I threw the rest of the stuff away.

Yeah, I got one of those. You could push the start button on the flyer and you could hear an engine starter followed by a couple revs. Pretty cool. Figured I would never get the car, (boy was I wrong) kept it for a few weeks on my counter and eventually it went in the garbage

I got one from a guy I met at a gas station.
He asked a few questions about the car and then mentioned he had one of those button cards and asked if I wanted it. YES
I had only heard about it on the old,old board.
Still have it and it still works.

I got one, and I lost it. All you had to do was put your name on the S2000 interest list on honda's website.
