Default State Farm Insurance

I've had State Farm Insurance for roughly 10 years and I recently switched to their low mileage insurance coverage since I have another vehicle in addition to the s2000. My main concern is what happens if I exceed the annual mileage limit and need to make a claim? I think the limit is 8,000 miles per year, but I have to check with my agent on that one. I'm hesitant to call up my agent since I consider myself VERY fortunate to have gotten on this "plan" to begin with but I'm afraid that it may not cover me if something major happens. What's the worst case scenario? If I got into an accident could they really deny me coverage?

I live n Minnesota and drive the s2000 from March - November and drive my '05 BMW 525i during the winter months and occasionally during the rest of the year.

Does anyone else have this coverage and what to you guys think?

I'm a single 25 year old male and pay roughly $105/month total for FULL coverage on both vehicles. I paid roughly $140/month before I switched to the low mileage coverage. I have a home owner's policy with State Farm and some type of dinky life insurance coverage as well.

Any comments/suggestion appreciated.

State Farm uses annual mileage guidelines as part of their rate detemination process. The low mileage cutoff is typically 7500 miles per year or less, and results in a lower rate due to the fact your car is being driven less. They will ask you for annual odometer readings to confirm your use still meets the low mileage rating. However, as long as your policy is in force at the time of any loss, they will not deny you coverage if you accidently drove over 7500 miles during the year.
