Staying in V-Tec Through Shifts!
Hello fellow s2k heads!!! My S is fairly new, about 2 months old, and I decided to push it a little on the way to work this morning.
I'm in the middle lane and a stop light, and I needed get over to the left turn lane once the light turns green. There is a pick-up truck beater to the left, and a Camaro SS with the "race stripe" down the middle to my right.
The light turns green and I do a steady take off than WOT. The Camaro thought I was messing with him, and tried to keep up. This is where I get to the title of the thread!!!
Getting into V-tec in 1st, taking it to just below red, than shifting to 2nd, rpm's dropped to 6200, still in V-Tec and pulling like a MF!!!! One word..... WOW!!!
By the time I got to the next light to turn left, I had about 2 cars on the Camaro! I love my S!!!
Just thought I'd share my little fun this morning with ya'll!

Must be a very slow camaro or he/she is not even in the race.
vtec is lovely but big displacement will still take it in straight line.
