steel wheels
I've been looking for a spare set of wheels to put race rubber on and assumed the best/cheapest solution is to find a used set of oems. Just came upon the Discount Tire website and they list a steel wheel made by a company called Unique Wheel that sells for $45 in the following listed size= 16x6.5 5-4.25/4.5 42. Anyone know how this wd work on all 4 corners? Is this too good to be true?

John not too sure what the wheel sizes that you listed meant. I understand the16x6.5 but that is all.
Anyway Im assuming that you're putting race rubber on to go to the track and turn some laps in which case steel rims are a bad choice since they are too heavy. Also these are thinner than stock and aren't staggered like the OEMs so your handling will be all over the place.
Go for forged wheels if you can and stagger the front and rears to keep your handling neutral. JDM S2k wheels are a good option but pricey.

Thanks Austblue-
Yeah I was concerned that the site seemed to say all 4 rims wd be the same size. I think the "5= 4.2 to 4.5" has to do w/ the #of lugs and the pattern and the 42 is the offset. Thanks for your reply. Anyone else?

I would recommend a used set of OEM wheels. It really wouldn't make any difference if they had a few scratches on them if you are going to use them at the track. I bought a set of OEM wheels for $400 last fall for snow tire use and the prices have come down since then.
Good luck,
