I'd like to know if a stock S2000 will scrape on my driveway which is one lane and I cannot go at a diagonal to. It isn't exactly level-to-incline, but I estimate it to be 18degrees from where the front is to the angle of where the rear wheel are when approaching. My previous 2012 Focus Titanium and '97 Integra would barely scratch--but I'd have to be in 1st and have as slow as possible as it transitions, then get on the gas so it doesn't bog and I don't have to use clutch.
I don't want to have to bring out ramps every time, but any other suggestions if it will scrape the front badly?

The measurement is from where the spoiler probably will hit compared to where the rear tire will be.

 

I would opine a high probability of scrubbage of the actual bumper cover, but you may never know until you try. You could have someone there to watch and stop you if it's gonna hit.

 

Does not look too promising, hope it works out though. Hope you don't have plans to lower the car either.

Can you build a ramp that you can leave in your driveway permanently?

 

The sidewalk is common area owned by the city and I cannot modify it permanently.
I believe backing up will just scrape the front, but in the opposite directions. My memory of another low vehicle (I forgot which one) scraped harder going down.
Trucks usually list their angle of approach in specs--I was hoping someone here would have had the same issue or have that number.
So to clarify, both AP1 and AP2 in stock height are far worse than "standard" cars and even slightly worse than "sports-cars" for the scraping the bottom?

 

Maybe someone could get a piece of wood and stick under the front tires, lift until it touches somewhere, and then record that angle? Or maybe I hunt down someone nearby and clandestinely do it (!!!)

You could back up the thing.
You might be able to angle yourself a bit to help. There is a driveway like this I have to use once a week. I just get far over to one side and turn right before I hit it and it just works out.
You might be able to make something out of wood (not permanent) shaped just right and epoxy the two fitted angle pieces at the edge. Don't bring any attention to it. I bet the city will never notice.
