Arrow Steering wheel and stuff stolen

Hi, I'm a new member with a nice new 06...

Anyway, woke up today to find the top slashed and the steering wheel, stock shift knob and owner's manual stolen. Which sucks. Odd thing is the seats were left behind (maybe not as popular with the 06 redesign?) and the dashboard was completely torn apart. I mean, broken into many many pieces. I've seen pics of other S's with stolen steering wheels, but it looked like they took it off cleanly, with no damage to the actual dashboard. I suppose these guys may not have been as professional. Oh well, at least the rest of the car seems ok....

That really sucks .... sorry to hear it. I'm about to take possession of mine, and this is exactly what I'm afraid of. Did you have an alarm system? If not, do you think it would have helped?? I can't decide if it's worth investing $600 or so in a system with only a $200 deductible ....

I hope your insurance company treats you right!

Sorry to hear about that. I have an 06 S also. I live in an apt complex, and I decided to get a garage, just for the reason that it might be broken into. Post some pics.

That really sucks. I can't imagine why the dash would be so torn up; maybe they just got even more pissed in the middle of it? Thankfully your seats weren't stolen, but I imagine the dash damage might be worse

Some people have no shame. What goes through their head to justify completely ruining someone else's hard-earned property so they can get a few new things for their crappy car
