Steering with your knees
Although I generally find the S2000 easiest to drive while holding the steering wheel properly, and that hands at 9 and 3 are the most natural, there were several cases while driving through the Southwest when I needed to reapply a little bit of sunscreen and had to take both hands off of the wheel for a few seconds to squeeze some out of the tube. Most of the time I just held the car steady and all was fine.
However, once or twice I needed to make minor course corrections and found that, unlike several other cars that I own, even a half inch correction to the steering wheel has an instant effect when traveling at 70-80 mph. That car movement puts more pressure on the leg trying to steer, causing more steering in the same direction. There was once or twice that the car went into a bit of an oscillation before I grabbed the wheel again. It taught me that I really shouldn't do that unless the car will be going absolutely straight the whole time.
This is more of a word of warning in case any of you try steering with anything other than your hands.

I steer with my knees, I've done this with many of my cars and others cars I've driven. I can change lanes and can make turn as long as there not sharp turns. Most passengers get a little nervous.

Yeah, the knee is the best! How else can you get the top off the JD bottle or light up a big fatty while driving? Actually, I may have a 1200 mile trip coming up to get mine. For now the deal is on with a 2day trip back from WA to sunny San Diego. The part that sucks is that my path goes through a chunk-o-Montana! Nothing like giving a new car the test at 140! I wonder how stable I'll be with my knees then?
