Here are some pictures of how I made the J-Sport carbon fiber cooling plate fit perfectly with the spoon air duct.

Here is the before picture of the J-Sport carbon fiber cooling plate


Then after making a template from cardboard I traced my design onto the cooling plate and used the dremel with sanding drum to remove the unwanted material.


Here is what the J-Sport carbon fiber cooling plate looked like after I was done sanding it to the new shape


And finally here are the pictures of the cooling plate installed with the spoon intake

you can ditch that metal plate that you have on top of your carbon fiber plate...just use the rubber weather strip on the CF and that's all you'll need

could you post a pic of your cardboard template with an inch or cm ruler/scale next to it that way we could print it at the right size and use it directly ??
