s2kblk,

I was thinking of powdercoating the same color or charcoal black. I curbed each wheel once in the rear...drat!

I have these wheels too and wanted to order a new set of stickers as well.

Hey this reminds me... for a while there, there was a company called "Bolk Racing" I think... they made rip off TE37's... I know they had them for civic apps... wonder if they have them for S2K app. I mean they were something like $150 or $200 a piece...

shingles,

Bolk Racing eh? That's grand...

slee909,

Bad news...my local import tuner (Carboy), says that the stickers are not sold seperately. I would say that the source is 95% reliable.

They did tell me that you can go anywhere to have the sticker duplicated though...

Man, I hate it when I curb my rims. I did that on my old C5s, and that sucked big time on a 3 pc wheel. Also, I ended up painting my hub area black. I did kind of a half assed job though. I just covered the wheels real good and then sprayed this black Rustoleum high temp paint on. It looks much better than that crappy rust color.

That sucks, last thing i want to do is make my wheels look cheap by getting a bad imititation sticker. I think i might call Mackin directly to see if they have them.

Go for it man...let me know what they say...

The owner of Carboy told me that the stickers do not leave the factory without the wheel

Volk stickers are not available unless you buy the wheel that they come on. Phantom, you can move that source reliability up from 95% to 100%.

I took all of the stickers off of mine when I had them powdercoated. I will probably replace them with new ones, though I am beginning to like the clean look. I found a place that sells them and they can make them in colors,40 a set for blue 50 a set for colors. As far as taking them off and reducing the value (future sales) it will not happen. The Rays logo is stamped in the casting of the wheel, so if anyone questions you can show them, not to mention the replicas weigh each, as much as a set of real Volks
