Default Still cant figure it out!?$@$

Took the car out today.....on the highway doing about 73-78mph (6th)(applying throttle) cars rear end shakes?? what the hell is going on...

I know its not the balance cause i already had the tires changed and rebalanced.,,,, also already had alignment done...what gives???

anyone else have this problem??? could axles/driveshaft be bent...or something wrong with diff???

P.S car is lower (not extreme on tein flex w/17" Ce28ns)

thanks

Jay

Check air pressure in rear tires.
Check tread on inside of rear tires.
Could also be your driveshaft(s).

Other than that, care to elaborate?

its kinda hard to explain, but its really F*&*^%$ annoying! I keep a constant check on tire pressure...so thats good...tires are still in good condition....

if i drive on the highway and let go of the gas its fine...but when i get on it (in 6th, most noticable b/c low prms) going about 75mph it shakes/vibrates!! and if i can remember correctly it only does it at 73-78mph....80mph under acceleration it feels fine!!

dont know what to do

CV joints? Does it do this on moderate to heavy acceleration from lower speeds?

wouldnt be his balancing on the tires.... if it was it would still shake without any throttle. The whole car shakes or just the rear? or you dont know?

I have a very similar problem. When I drive on the freeway at 72 mph+ I hear a vibration noise that comes from the rear of the car. The noise goes away when I let off the gas. I only hear the noise in sixth gear. Doesn't seem to affect handling or drivability of the car. Anyone have some thoughts on what this could be?

Guys, If you feel the vibration under acceleration its the rear CV joints as X-Viper already mentioned. There have been numerous thread with photos. You can disassemble and swap the components side to side so that a new wear area is provided.
