I just got back from the NAIAS (Detroit auto show), a beautiful red hardtop StooK was there, and STILL there were a ton of people surrounding the car! I thought that was great, considering all the other new cars and prototypes around. BTW, across the isle was the Acura RX, I think it's gonna be the Integra replacement. Very slick. Also noted was the new MRoadster with 315 horses, and it's $15K premium over the StooK. Pretty good show this year, but not as good as last year's. It was a 3 hour drive for me, I wouldn't recommend any further.
Sorry no pics, I'm still using an original Pentium 90Mhz! One of these days I'll get a "real" computer AND a digital camera!

I went to the Phoenix auto show this year (nothing compared to Detroit's) and the two biggest attention getters were the S2000 (yellow) and the new Thunderbird convertible. I guess roadsters are the way to go.

Thanks for the report, vmb. We are planning a gaggle of us to head to the Chicago Auto Show next month and will be posting lots of pics and stuff. I barely had time to do the Chicago show last year...but my main objective was to hang out at the Honda display and see the reaction of people, which, even though it was a silver ( ), people's reaction was very very positive.
Contrary to what some here and other places believe, the bloom has not fallen from the S2000 rose. The car is only in its second year and is still a mystery to the vast majority of people out there. I haven't even seen an S2000 on the road since early August. In my travels lately, people look at my car like it's a space ship...
Report to follow from the CAS!
