Stock '01 Dyno
So I took my car in for a dyno pull today, and got a pleasant surprise! The Dyno Dynamics dyno that I took it to is known to put stock AP1's at ~195whp, so as I watched the wheels begin to spin I crossed my fingers and hoped for ~195whp.
I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. This was on a Dyno Dynamics that has shown itself to read on the low side when compared to local Dyno Jets(about 6% lower). My car is completely stock aside from the air filter, and it was filled with 91 octane.

I believe it was. I asked a million questions because I didn't think anyone would believe me, and the shop told me just to say that all non-believers should just call them.
Let it be known that I'm not trying to say that those are my absolute numbers, but rather that they are about 15whp higher than other AP1's on that dyno. The dyno operators were very shocked.

i take dyno numbers lightly now because i dynoed 217 hp 149 tq on a dynojet and one shop and then 208 on a different one with the same mods...u dont kno what to believe. Its really just to see what power u can gain from mods on the same dyno.

It's true that different dynos/days/operators can make a big difference, however, I wouldn't have posted this if I had felt that there was nothing strange or exciting about it. Remember that I'm comparing my numbers to those that were done with the same dyno/operator, and even the guy that has seen plenty of cars roll through was shocked.
Also, it is well known that dynojets typically read higher, and it holds true for the people that had their dynojet numbers in mind today and didn't get near them.

all the berlina ones seem to be the "Freaks". you shoulda seen the my dyno guys face with i made one less whp than a BPU 03 mustang GT.
I would have loved to have been there. I just had a snobby Mustang owner blow my car off as just another rice burner that couldn't possibly face his 'merican muscle. I got in a few words that made him think though.
