Get used to it. Seems to be a problem in some areas of the country. Where do you live/work? Some people have resorted to unscrewing the antenna when parked.

Yep happened to me too. About 2 weeks after I bought it. Haven't had a problem since. ::knock on wood::

I've heard of people with other cars with screw on/off antennas use some kind of glue on the threads... a permanent antenna...

Has anyone tried that with the S, and if so, what glue?

A search for "Locktite" should turn up what you're looking for. There's a specific kind/color that people have recommended, but I can't recall what it was right now.

And yup, my antenna has been stolen before too. It's somewhat irritating, but no biggie in the grand scheme of things.

I never lock my S at work and I have a spare key in the secret comparment in case I need to go somewhere I can just jump in and drive away, rather than go up to my office to get the car key.

If I was you, I would try Locktite with the replacement antenna. Also, you may want to get the locks for your seats and wheels. These items are much more expensive than the antenna.

TR-S2K: The secret compartment is not as secret as you might think. I would seriously reconsider leaving a spare key in there if I were you.

Why don't you just keep your keys in your pocket?
