stolen antenna

Depends on which locktite you use.. theres a blue one (weaker) and a red one (stronger), and maybe one inbetween?

You usually need a breaker bar to get the red one off. I guess it depends on if you can forsee ever needing to remove your antenna.

BTW, if you dont have locktite, get some from a friend, the stuff is not cheap! I think a medium sized bottle of the red stuff is $22 or so.

i don't know where you guy's are buying loctite, but that stuff cost less than $5.00usd at autozone (red or blue)

Even $5 is a lot to protect something is under $20 to replace. That's 25% insurance. I think it would be better to just the antenna off when you're going to be away from the car for a long period of time or at a location where it's more likely that it could be stolen.
