The honda insight one works too...it's much less appealing, so people are less likely to take it. The one from the 2005 EP3 civic works too....it's shorter than the S2000's. try the one from an 2005 Accord Hybrid...may not fit....but it's not as flexible as an S2000's and most people think it's ugly and will ignore it.

I did this almost 5 years ago. I can't remember if it was red or blue Loctite. What ever it was, it didn't affect the radio reception at all. Once screwed down tight, Loctite doesn't eliminate all metal to metal contact between the threads.

they are def different... not by much though.. plus i jsut wanted a new one a 5 year old one looks liek crap

I used 2-stage golf club epoxy...I build golf clubs as a hobby/side job, and the stuff is designed for securing objects even when significant torque is applied and is impervious to moisture and heat/humidity...
