Default Stolen Seats?

Has anyone else had their seats stolen? Mine got stolen some time ago and I was wondering if this is a common thing or just my luck. My cousin worked at a dealership and told me that it happened there once too. I don't get why anyone would want these seats? Do they fit Civic's well or something?

Seat theft is too common.
Yes, they fit Civic's.

You don't get why anyone would want em?
Because they're leather, supportive, good looking seats.

They can fit in most anything you want them to with the right rails. Aren't too many cars narrower than ours so width fitment isn't a really an issue. And yup, they fit pretty much any other Honda with a little custom mounting

Try 3 grand or so. I'm sure I read on this forum that the seats can't be bought as a single unit but rather a conglomeration of parts which make the cost astronomical.

No, more like about $3500 to $4000 apiece. You have to buy all the pieces and have them assembled. You cannot buy complete seats ... well, except for all the stolen ones on ebay.

When I was looking, they were around 3k each. I did end up buying on eBay because my insurance screwed me over....and I had to pay out of pocket to get the top replaced (since they had slit it to get the car open and steal the seats). Could've gotten a hardtop for that kind of money!

WHAT! The top should be covered as well as 100% of the seats - deductable.

If you got screwed over its because you let them screw you over.
