There are many individual parts to our OEM seats that when priced out separately and put together, equal ~$9000 or so. They do not come from the factory/dealer fully assembled. That said, any car separated into it's original pieces will ALWAYS be more expensive than the MSRP of the vehicle, that's just the way it is, and is one of the reasons why chop shops make so much money.

As an example, just think of some of the prices of screws and bolts for our cars. There are tons that are like $10-20 each. Add up all those bolts and other pieces, and you probably have an $80K car. Also remember that the factory isn't paying dealer prices. That $20 suspension bolt probably cost the factory $1.

i got something like 7500 from my insurance company when my seats were stolen. it's pretty ridiculous, but i got a nice set of bride's out of it.
