Why is the s2000 sometimes refered to as "stook"? just curious.

John thinking of getting an S? We have quite a large collection of S2000s here in Austin. Don't know why but we do.

John David Stutz, the man who shot Buckwheat, also had two first names. The SAME two first names... hmmmm...

I don't refer to the car as a Stook. Sounds too much like Stork, or Stuka (the groundbreaking [literally] German dive bomber of WW-II). Neither connotes anything I want to find analogous to the S2000. When in conversation with other owners, I call it "S" or "S2K," but in a dialogue with a neophyte, I use the traditional long form, "S2000."

- I still don't have a vin number, but it's expected arrival date is for late January or first of Febuary.
