Now I now this topic has been posted before but i just had to rant so i can go to bed..I don't drive my car for a week and when i took it out tonight, only for like 3 hrs the antenna gets ripped off!..Jeezuz, my car has been raped..that's how I feel!..what a jerkoff, now my antenna is prolly stuck on some celica or golf or whatever else it can fit on to..what's wrong with the world these days? It's a cheap item which they can buy THEMSELVES instead of making me spend another 30 bucks or whatever it is to buy back a factory original part! ..ARGH I feel like i'm going to vtec someone over his neck. thanks for letting me rant people!

I know how it feels. Be thankful they did not try to steal your Honda sign and leave a big scratch/damage on your hood or the trunk.

h2000,

$14.92 from Trevor at http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000.html.

I ordered a spare, just in case.

h2000,
Haven't heard from you for a while. Why don't you order a replacement from your cousin in Marv Jones? Try LocTite (medium strength) from LorCo or any hardware store.

Hey AP... it's been a while!

I thought about doing the Loc-tite thing too, but my worry is that if they can't get the antenna off easily, they may try to force it and cause permanent damage to my beloved S2K! IMHO, much easier to take the antenna with you...

BTW... I had mine stolen too!

Spoon AP1,

How's your silver S2k? You still have to show me Rick's leather console But it's pathetic how little respect these people have of the property of others. At least they didn't "key" the paint of the car. Too bad neither of you caught them in the act! So did you have yours stolen in Vancouver or Burnaby?

I ordered a spare antenna when I got the car, and kept it in the car, just in case...
(my daughter's behind me shaking her head and calling me obsessive-compulsive!)

Go get a hightech security system with a proximity sensor if you don't already have one.
I should have done this when my antenna (and two wheel caps) were stolen....
They (probably the same gang) stole my seats the next week!
Talk about being raped...

If it makes you feel any better, one of my customers had his Odyssey stolen at the gas station yesterday. He's kinda wishing it was just the antenna right now
Just keep an eye out for a Celica and steal it back
