I was leaving my house on day and I found my neighbors scrapper's bump pressed up against my rear bumper. It was low so it scraped up the plastic under the bumper. I asked him what the hell was he thinking, because I was parked on a corner spot and he parked on the red line. Not only that, there was a parking spot in the front of his house! His excuse was that he was getting laundry. I asked him for his insurance and he and his wife snaps on me and eggs me on to call the cops. I called the cops and they came and said that they won't force them to give their info because they only damaged plastic, which will "buff right off." Needless to say I'm still pissed. I don't wanna do physics damage to his car, but I'm contemplating on throwing a stink bomb into the vents of his Lexus.
Just take the oil filter off his beater car and call it a day.

Living in So Cal I haven't had one incident of any haters trying to get at my car. That's probably because there's a gajillion nicer rides out on the streets around here than an S to pick on.

Fortunetly I live in a nice area of palm beach county so I dont worry toooo much about someone doing something to my car, however I was thinking, in order to avoid door dings i sometimes park (like most) faaaaaar away from everyone else. Not taking up two spots or at an angle like some dorks, but, does anyone think parking our rides so far away brings attention to the car...like some punk ass kid in his civic is more likely to notice me now and he thinks im a snobby dick so he decides to key it....get my drift??? anyone agree?

ha I agree about that last part, when you do park far away the first thought that comes to some people's mind is "he think he has a nice car ey" then before you know it you get keyed and what not....me personally I park next to whoever, and luckily with this method nothing has happened yet *knock on wood*....

[QUOTE=Jakup,Apr 15 2006, 06:30 AM] If someone did anything like that to my car, no matter how minor, I certainly wouldn't be happy.
So far, the only thing I've had messed with on my car was someone stealing the antenna.

I mentioned this in the another thread-- my condo is around the building from my parking space, and in front of it lives a high school kid who has a non-stop bregaid of friends over his house. Sure enough I noticed that someone spit on my hood last night. Not a big deal, it caught it at the crack of dawn and the paint wasn't damaged, but DAMN... can't I park my car at my home and not have to worry?
