storing the honda for the winter

Default storing the honda for the winter

i was wondering if i should disconnet the battery for the winter. i have it sitting in the garage with the cover on it. is that all i need to do, i did put that fuel stablizer in the gas tank, any other recomendations?

As for the battery, is it a heated garage? If not take the battery out and put it in a non freezing place on a piece of wood, not near any open flames. If you keep it in the car, attach a Battery Tender to it.

What is the point of lifting the tires off the concrete? I've never found a definite answer regarding this.

Those are styrofoam boards. They are to prevent flat spotting of the tires during storage. A piece of plush carpet under each tire wil work as well. Also, tires are over-inflated for storage.
