I just purchased a Evolution 4 car cover. I garage my car but I got it for when I go on vacation (this week end) and Fall colors, etc. We all know the trunk is small and with my luggage as well as my wife's luggage there isn't much room. The cover folds up nicely but it is a little bulky. Tried sitting it on top of the top when it is down but the cover is light and lifts up even though I tie it down to the side top brackets. No place to tie it in the middle. I removed the black towel in my well and the cover fits perfectly if folded right. However, the top sits up about 4 inches higher than normal when it is down. It doesnt obstruct my view and it stays down fine. The window is ok with no creasing. See any negatives to doing it like this?

I detail them for a special customer who has 3 others I do every 4 months. I do not drive them hard even though it is tempting. The Vantage (DB-7) convertible is beautiful but it drives like the Jag convertible at about twice the price. Interior is Connelly leather and wilton carpet but fitment of panels aroudn dash is poor, wood veneer looks fake, no auto down window and when the top is down rear windows are not flush with body. Terrible radio, No CD. The S2K would hang in a drag race and smoke it on the twisties due to weight and cushy suspension. Overpriced for what you get. The Vantage is an exotic ($249K) and it should be. Had to get used to the paddle shifters and quirky emergency brake. Red start button "lights up" when you put paddles in neutralto start. 460 HP is torquey and very fast. (0-60) 4.7 and 13.2 in the quarter. Excellent suspension and the exhaust is nasty. Hit sport mode and baffles open and it sounds like a ferrari. It literally stops traffic due to its sleekness and uniqueness. Only a few here so far and one is in the new James bond movie. Wife likes my S2K better. If I had 250K it would be buying a Ferrari which isn't owned by FORD.
