I used a similar product for an SLK-less than $100 and there was more cabin wind than the original mesh windblocker.

I noticed they only sell specific designs for certain cars
The black straps looked fine with black roll bars.

Well for you in GA. maybe. but here in Chicago we already have 45-50 degree nights, 60 degree days, its getting cold, I'd like to extend my top down season+heater as long as I can. Can't take the freezing head, ears, and shoulders.
You'd be better off installing seat heaters.

I think what's needed is a boxster-style mesh screen. If someone wanted to put together a nice kit that would snap on (to what?), I'll bet he could sell a lot of them.

We also make a vibration free 7/8 screen (available in clear or smoked) for the S2000 that utilises the original factory holes and can be removed or installed in less than a minute. It comes with an attractive fastening kit that you can simply leave in the holes when the screen is off the car so you're not driving around with obvious holes in your glovebox lid.

A much tidier solution than straps. You can see those fasteners in the S2000 & Z3 shots below...

The S2000 model has exactly the same fasteners as the Z3 model. (See below)
