Default stripped interior

i'll try not to be too much of a newbie here, but i tried searching around as much as i could first. i was hoping someone could provide some stripped interior pictures of an s2k. i'm mostly interested in the space behind the seats. i want to figure out how much space (leg room i guess) can be had by removing interior pieces or even the drop top components. thanks for any help you guys can hook me up with.

Behind the plastic panels is a steel wall. You may get half an inch.

lol, yeah 6'6. that's why i'm asking. i'm driving an rsx-s right now and i have a good amount of room in there. i've sat in an s2000 a couple times and kinda have to wedge myself in there. the s2000 has always been a dream car of mine, i'm just wondering if its possible to gain a couple inches of leg room. just dreaming i guess.

This is the thread on lowering the driver's seat. It's long but read through it. It has pics and some valuable comments.

6'6"? Yikes! I'm 6'3" and just barly fit! If I was any taller, I wouldn't have been able to get the S.

Oh and yes, I've done the seat mod...

Do you guys like.. gangster lean or do I sit like a granny?
I'm 6' and move the seat close and upright. I like to keep my knees bent and definitely off of the edge of the seat. If my brother ever takes it for a cruise.. he pushes the seat farther back.. to the last spot and he's 3-4 inches shorter than I am.

I dunno.. But I drive better with the right bend at the knees. In the beater I go farther back and the end of my thigh/knee is on the seat.

6'6 I can see being a problem.. but you six footers out there...
Or do I feel less cramped because the extra inch of elbow room? heh

All good. Glad there's ways to help all the basketball stars out.

my buddies 6'7 and has to hunch over if the top is up. I'm 6'2 but thin 160 and it fits me well but my visor is sitting up straight. If I pulled the visor down I'd be looking at the nice paint job on my hood.! You are never going to be really comforatble in the car.

6'2" and 230 lbs here.

I've shaved the foam in the seat a little and pounded out the seat pan to lower it a little. It still needs a bit of work but is Ok for most driving I do.

As for seat adjustments, I put the seat back bolt upright, move the seat all the way to the rear than then finesse it forward two notches on the adjustments. I then lean the seat back as far as it will go. Works for me!

Drive Safe,
Steve R.

I am still interested in seeing pics of a striped interior (especially the roll bars with no covers). Any one got some pics or a link?

Thanks,

Joe
