The best return on investment is for mods to the loose screw behind the wheel. Stock, the car is better than most of the drivers. Invest in track days, autocross schools, etc. That's where the big performance improvements lie; best of all, those improvements transfer to your next car at no additional charge.

But point well taken.
Very little if any gain from a tower bar.. get one off of ebay if you want one. or a cusco carbon fiber one..its light, looks good,and shows how perfect the S is balanced with its engine placement. but if you wanna save as much weight and money as possible, and get proven gains get an x-brace(whiteline preferably) to make that chassis even stiffer.

This is always overlooked. Not surprising, I guess. In any field of interest people seem to focus on (and blame) the equipment while overlooking the operator.
