Stuff falling out of truck in front
My gf has been sharing my car with me since she returned her lease. Unfortunately she isn't exempt from the bad luck that has followed my car around these past 3 years.
I wake up to hear her yelling at me in a panicked voice that she hit something on the freeway. Went downstairs expecting to see my new amuse bumper ruined but it didn't have a single scratch. Everything looked fine until she pointed to the passenger floor.

Hard to tell but it's popped up a good 3-4 inches.
Jacked up the car to find this

Something had somehow cleared my bumper, then stood up and uppercut my passenger floor. Broke at least 5 or 6 spot welds there and punctured a hole through the metal.
I then proceeded to remove the carpet to further assess the damage.

Some more broken spot welds and you can see where it tore through. Kinda bummed it happened but at least it didn't hit any other vital things like my exhaust, engine, oil pan, transmission, etc. I hit it a few times with a mallet hoping to push it down and weld the spots back up but it seems pretty tough. She said it wasn't very big and it couldn't have been if it cleared the bumper.
I might try to bang it out a bit more but looks like its going to a shop lol. -.-;;
