Does anybody know what the purpose of the cubby hole in the center console, to the rear of the cup holder, is for? Is it supposed to be some kind of change holder or something? Haven't seen it referred to or called anything before. Just curious.

 

I use mine for change.

 

I use it for the garage door remote

 

I used to jam my Star Tac in there...it fits perfectly.

I have plastic lighters in there now.

 

Fills the space used for buttons in some other countries. Washer in GB, I think?

 

It's perfect for toothpicks.

 

Used napkins.

 

change for tolls and a mini garage door opener.

 

Holds my garage key, coffee club card, certs, and a 5 lb bag of sugar!

 

Also holds the rear defroster switch when the hardtop's installed.
