This is going to sound very dumb, but I'm still new to the whole S2000 thing. What are those black mounts under the headlights? Are they license plate mounts?

some BMW n others cars made them too

Not all EDM's have them ^

It depends on what country they are going to whether or not they are required.

I would be pretty irritated if the US required us to deface our cars that way...

They wouldn't be bad if they were body colored and still aren't as bad as states (like mine) that require front license plates
