Stupid question, can the rear 'spoiler' be removed?
My car came w/all the forced options, but I really like the look of the car w/out the rear 'shelf' spoiler. Is this thing glued on or are there holes drilled? I like all of the other pieces, just not crazy about the rear. Would it be possible, easy to remove?
Holes are drilled. Installation instructions can be found at :

I'm pretty sure there are at least two holes that were drilled into the trunk. The spoiler also has some double sided tape to it. You can rip the spoiler off by unbolting and using a heat gun to ease the aheasive of the double sided tape.
You will probably need to put the car in a body shop for a day or two to have the holes filled and painted ($200???).

Go to the H&A vendor site (at the bottom of group buys). In their site, they have a link to the Honda manual that shows how to install the rear spoiler.
In short though, I DO believe that you have to drill the trunk to fit the spoiler. In light of the fact that you could end up with more trouble than it is worth having the trunk repainted (due to having the holes filled), I would STRONGLY be inclined to leave this fitted.
Just imagine how bad you'd feel if the silver metallic paint quality and match of your trunk was significantly different than the rest of the car. Right now, your paint is factory. You'd never forgive yourself! Then you'd be pissed for removing the spoiler. Besides, the match of your rear spoiler should be really good now as it is painted at the factory.
I hate to tell it to you like this, but it's something I'd try and get 'used to' if I were you. You'll be better off in the long run.
Cheers,

You want to remove the spoiler and I want to add one.
To each his own... Greg Stevens advised me when I told him I was planning to buy the silver that it looked better with the front and rear spoilers. The longer I live with the car the more I agree, so I think I'm going to add them.
