What does AP1 and AP2 mean?What is an OEM part?Sorry I a new to my S2000

Look at your VIN. You will see either AP1 or AP2.

AP1 is the first gen S2000 (model years 2000 - 2003). AP2 is the current car. OEM stands for "original equipment manufacturer." Fancy way of saying "stock" pretty much.

Don't get us started. Neither is better, they are different. You can to to any Wikipedia and there is a good writeup on the differences.
