Default this suck

last month i decided to go for a mid-night drive and as i was driving down a deer jump on front of me, i swerved and ended hitting a tree.

i guess i was going at around 35 to 40 at the time of impact i dont know, all i know is that this sucks balls but it could have been worse.

in all, I should have known better. road was really dark and narrow and its next to a national park, definately i want to get an other S i just have to be more mature about it.

You should have hit the deer. Then you can carve it up and eat all sorts of Venison while the car gets fixed.

when given the choice between hitting a deer and hitting a tree, i'd take the deer. just sayin.

sorry about your luck though, hope you get into a new S soon.

Yep, I had a similar experience once...swerved to avoid an animal in the road and put the car in a ditch. In retrospect, I should've just hit the animal -- repainted bumper = $400. New door, fender, wheel, and control arm = $4000.

Smaller than a cow...hit it.

When you see a deer, floor it

If you swerve, you could hit a tree and kill the S and possible your self.

If you hit the brakes, the deer will come crashing into the windshield as you hit it.

If you floor it, you can get enough speed to catapult the deer completely over the car.

Hitting the dear with a low front end might cause it to come over the top and end up doing the driver some real physical damage. You made the right choice. Hit the tree, then shoot the deer. :-)

I like venison as well...,

haha! I'm sorry but this just made me laugh.

As for your tree hit, at least you're ok. the s is replaeable, you're not.

trees don't give when you hit em, deer do. I'd take a deer over a tree any day, plus you could walk away with some yummy venison as others said!
