Default Suggestions on securing the floor mat to the floor

I bought my car used and the previous owner put in some custom billet aluminum floor panels instead of the carpet. I don't know how I feel about them so I want to buy a used set of OEM floor mats.

If the floor mats don't come with the anchors, can you think of any other effective method of keeping them in place? I think the previous owner used floor mats but never installed the anchors cause you had to screw a hole in the floor, and he didn't like the mats cause they moved around a lot.

You need to still have the little square holes in your floor to use the Honda clips. If this aluminum floor panel covers it, you will be out of luck.

you can order the anchors from handa-accessories.com as well

to install them you will need to either cut slits in the carpet, or remove the carpet from the area so that you can drill a hole in the floor

Since you need to buy new floor mats altogether I would suggest getting ricks one piece floor mats http://www.ricks2k.com/products/carpets.php
They run under the seats and cover the bump that people always put their feet on and ruin it. Also since they provide a very snug fit and they wont move around, even without an anchor. Pricey at 180 for a set but people swear by them.
