Default Summer pricing of a used s2000

So now that I got a new job I am officially in the market for getting a new s2k. I don't really care if its an ap1 or ap2 but I can only purchase a car that is no older than 10 years according to the loan I'm applying for. Would the price of a used s2k go up because its almost summer time? Would it be smart to wait till winter? I know that there are some good prices right now but just thought I would ask for opinions.
Thanks guys!

Prices might swing a bit overall, but honestly it's not as big as some make it out to be. For example, I bought mine in July a couple of years ago for far less than any others were going for. Deals are deals regardless of the time of year. If you can secure a loan now, start looking now. Nothing like having one of these cars this time of year.

In a place like Ohio, you'll get a better deal on a drop top or motorcycle at the end of summer. People don't want to store it, and they're usually willing to knock that off the purchase price.

Now, your location says LA: I'm no expert on regional weather patterns, but I don't know how much of a winter they get there. Plus the import scene is much larger in SoCal than many other place. So, those are factors to consider too.

Im in Chicago and time of year makes a pretty big difference. I record the KBB value of my car in the beginning of every month(since march.)Its gone from like 13,000 in march to like 15,000 now, and it was like 11-12k in december 2011 when I bought it. Im not at home so I cant post the graph I have.

Here it is. If you wanna drive all summer with top down then you might have to pay a few extra $$ for it right now. If you wanna save some $$ then wait till the end of september and get it. Let me warn you thought. I got mine on the last day of august last year and only had a couple weeks of top down (I live in Oregon). Now that summer is coming up I've already been driving top down almost everyday for the past 2 weeks and I can't wait for a whole summer with this car.

If it has 3 gallons of gas in the tank, that makes the car $6990 complete with a HT.
