It seems like the Black one shut it down way before the SC'ed one did. From the clip, you can see the car (headlights) behind the black one was catching up.

Keep in mind as well that the SC S2000 was carrying a passenger, and the non-SC was carrying only a driver.

So the difference between the two cars would be even greater if they had the same occupant load. I'd be interested to see a race under these conditions!
