Supercharger?
Not sure where the F/I board is so i'm going to attempt to ask it here. I know many people prefer superchargers for the s2000, but why? Wouldn't a turbo be able to generate more power due to the higher rev limits of the car while the s/c would start to drop off more and more toward the end of the power band?

The S/C available for our cars make peek power towards the end of the powerband.
Turbos are not test proven yet.no high mileage T/C'ed S's
This has been gone over countless times. The only types of superchargers that are available (2 different types) are both centrifugal. Yes, turbos are faster - they can be just as reliable but there's more involved in getting them that way. They are also much more expensive. The thing with superchargers is that they are reliable, inexpensive (if you can find a used unit), and just bolt right onto the car and don't require any tuning at low boost levels.
With that being said, I spent the money to go turbo.
