Well a few of us Nor Cal folks went on over to Comptech to take a first hand look at the supercharger in action. If you are seriously considering modifications for your S2K, Comptech should be first choice. Comptech is serious about racing and the technology that surrounds the race scene. I've become a little disenchanted with my Digital Elph after the Canon S10.

 

That Comptech S2000 is amazing. That is what my S will grow up to be.

Loki, did alot of research and concluding the Olympus C3030 zoom had all the features plus superb pic quality! Does short mpgs as well!

Do you get the etched vavle cover with the supercharger? That was hot. Also, why did they go with a closed airbox, could it be easily turned into a cold air intake? Looks like it. Also, I haven't got my S yet, but I've heard that one of those mysterious faux scoops on the front are made to be turned into a cold air intake. This is from the same guy that told me that the S2000 can beat 2 of Ferrari's fastest cars. Unlikely

 

I dont think those cold air intakes are all they are cracked up to be, that airbox they have is prolly best.


Anybody have some typical accelleration times?

 

Well, I'll probably end up getting an intake first, so i'll just try to modify with what i got when i get the SC, if i feel like voiding the engine and tranny warranty
