There was a cool turbo kit for the Stook on overboost.com, but I haven't seen it again because it wasn't a project car for overboost, but someones personal car. It'd be nice to find that guy. I get all but flamed every time I bring this up (not that I care) because by the very nature of its construction and engineering the F20C doesn't lend itself readily to turbocharging (high compression, VTEC), but that doesn't mean that it can't be done with great success. 5lbs of boost on a small ceramic turbo with V shaped impellar tines + an intercooler would give way more torque than the supercharger, and just where it's needed...lower in the rev band. Add a compressor bypass valve kit to keep the boost up between shifts and killer performance awaits.

I read about a turbo project in ? (maybe Sport Compact Car) but they were going nuts with engine mods, like changing the cylinder sleeves to mild steel, lower compression pistons, and more to handle the boost. All that sounded really expensive AND experimental.

I did read about the new turbo design with an electric motor to spool up faster for no lag. Sounds like an overdue idea.

IMHO - why would you either like to super/turbo charge it anyway ? Before I was going to buy the s2k I looked into a WRX ...

You either buy a high revvin' or a turbo ...

I like the high revs of the s2k and I settle for the lower torque. I knew this before buying it.
I leave it stock.

If you've got enough money go for something more exclusive like Aston Martin, Maserati ... (not that I think that Honda is not exclusive )

Just my opinion !

I would prefer a turbo over a supercharger too.

I was told that supercharges are better for streets. Is that true or more basic story (BS)
