Hellooo. I ordered my Supersprint exhaust from bmpd.com Tuesday of last week and the shiny bastard showed up yesterday (Monday!). Less than a week! That's pretty amazing considering the hard time some people claim to have obtaining one. Unfortunately, nobody was home yesterday to sign for it; but today, we're ready. The guy I spoke to, Dwayne, was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He knew his stuff, and ordering was without hassle.

Anyway, my S, with the exception of a Titanium Voodoo knob, is completely stock. Weseloh Honda (very nice guys, highly recommended) will be doing the install and dyno runs on Friday. They will be doing a baseline first and then a dyno immediately after the exhaust install, so we'll probably have some accurate #s regarding the Supersprint once and for all.

If any of you guys are looking for a Supersprint exhaust, give Dwayne @ BMP a call at (800) 648-7278 ext. 208. You won't be sorry.

That's all for now. Results will soon follow.

That's good to hear because I too am getting the new Supersprint exhaust with the new slash cut tips. Hopefully our numbers will be the same somewhat. They are going to install the exhaust for me and then get dyno'd and replace it back to stock for comparison.

I like the new tips, they are slash cut, and the way the whole damn thing shines.

I will post pics as soon as they are on the car. The exhaust tips are cut sideways instead of of top to bottom, they are cut from left to right . I hope that makes sense. Pics will be posted soon.

It's a good question. I have the supersprint exhaust myself and I asked him in a PM dated 5/1/02. I got this response:

Hi there. Yeah I did. Sorry about not following up, but I was involved in a pretty severe accident TWO HOURS after installing it. My S looks totaled,
so I'm pretty depressed.

Anyway, baseline, my S dynoed at 190.1 peak. With the Supersprint installed, I got 194.9 which is a lot more than I would have ever expected. Pretty
weird. The car felt slightly faster, too.

It's probably the deepest sounding exhaust I've ever heard...almost too deep. The sound is not a vroom but more like a very very deep woooooom.
After an hour, my ears didn't hurt at all, but I had a horrible horrible headache. That one video file that was posted a couple days ago sounds
NOTHING like it. Really weird. There is absolutely not a trace of the "fart" sound.

The only thing that really pissed me off was the welding. Hands down, the worst welding I have ever seen this side of a Columbian oil tanker.
Seriously horrible. It looks almost as if the welder just didn't give a crap. The welds that hold the exhaust tip on are the worst! You can even see how
crappy it looks when you stand about 30ft away from the car to get the proper viewing perspective under tithe tip. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A $1300
EXHAUST. It sure sounds good, but man, it looks like CRAP! I was seriously surprised. I was about to send it back!! But then I said oh the hell with it
and had it installed.

Well, its certainly the best sound exhaust I've heard, but I wouldn't buy it again, just because of the welding. Maybe I got stuck with one that's worse
than others, I don't know...

Anyway, feel free if you wish to post my impressions on the board, cause I still really feel like crap. Ah well. Hope this helped.
