Given that I had the extra year to drive the '01, I would have still gone with the '01 even if I knew about the '02 back then. However, given that I now have the '01 already, taken the hit on depreciation is not worth it - especially with the lower resale value now on a 1 yr old S2000 than when I traded my '00 for the '01.
