Thumbs up Survey: S2k owners are male? Female?

Just want to establish, out of curiosity, if the S2K is a "chick-mobile."

I've never seen or met a chick that drives an S. I know there are a lot out there though, but it is definetly not a "chick-mobile."
No car that only comes in a 6-speed Manual is gonna be a chick-mobile, most girls prefer to drive automatics.

True: I am keeping in mind that the results will only be representative of the users of this forum.

Most of the drivers I've seen are male ... I did recently have a nice conversation with a very attractive (married ) woman who loved her S2K.

I'll bet her husband loves it more, though

That's cuz you're in Toronto. I'm from Toronto (moved here 5 1/2 years ago) and can honestly say I wouldn't have bought one up there. Not for long winter commutes... I owned 2 SUVs while there. I liked being able to safely swerve away from people who couldn't drive in the snow. Where do you live in TO?

2 of us on my (all female) racing team have S2000s, and there are a number of others in the So Cal forum. They're probably too busy driving the car to post on the boards. And yes, all of us girls drive stick. As do 95% of all the women in other parts of the world.

I've owned 7 cars and only one of them was an automatic, my current '98 Odyssey van, and only because it didn't come in a stick. I love to shift. And I'm on my second S2000, an '05 Suzuka. I passed my '01 Silverstone to my husband, his first car (he's a truck man).
