Stock.

It's better for what you want (streetable + track) than any of the suspensions listed so far.

Trust me.

WHY?

Either Tein's or J's would be better on the track and would simply offer a rougher ride and more maintenance on the street.

Why do you think Tein or J's would be better than stock?

And since when is a rougher ride and more maintenance a good thing?

Read some posts in the Racing & Competition forum to get a better understanding of what makes you fast on the track.

There are numerous reasons why Tein is considered subpar to stock. It doesn't have remote resovoirs on the rear shocks like the stock suspension does. This gives it limited suspension travel. Do a search on Tein suspensions on Honda-tech. They have a thread that has shock dynos for a bunch of different shocks, and you can see the Tein (RS or RA, can't remember) has limited adjustability compared to other shocks...

If you truly want to get a better suspension to make you faster at the track, you would first need to be capable of driving at the limit of you're suspension to see the flaws in the suspension otherwise you don't know what you need to change.

I'm not saying that Tein or J's is necessarily worse than stock, but for what he stated (street + track) stock is IMO the best suspension.

Go read some posts at R&C, I've already wasted my breath enough...

I have Tein SS's in my MP5 and I really don't mind the go kart effect of the rough ride or the limited maintenance for that matter.

I am just not familiar with the J's suspension and wondered how it compares to the tein products.

As far as riding stock.. haha, I am a fan of lowered vehicles... And plus I love attacking corners in the boonies!

I am just looking for a well rounded suspension that will give me improved handling ability that won't bend on me during street driving.

That's silly...don't get yourself all worked up. I'm not searching for someone elses issues. I just put my .02 in and asked you "Why?". You gave me the answer and now everyone's happy!

Keep in mind...we don't know kwyk and I guess I was assuming since he was asking the question in the first place he's really interested in making his car handle better and maybe even lower it while he's at it. When people want their car to handle better they don't run stock springs no matter where they're driving it. Although, I'm well aware the S2K stock springs are tits!

Not getting worked up, just saying that there is way more info in the R&C forums than I can write here.

Like I said you can't assume all the aftermarket suspensions are better than stock...

But if it's looks that you want, just cut your springs

No, they wouldn't.

If you're after the bling, then go for it. If you're after lap times then save your money.
