Default Suspension....What would you do?

Now here is the MIllion dollar question, how would you lower your car??
yes i know full coilover is the "right" way on doing it, now how about the car will never see a track or any kind of competition? but on the other hand you want to improve (not worsen) the all around handling, highway speed driving, cornering etc. (all street spirted driving) What would YOU do???

IMHO coilovers are the only way to go.

Coilovers are always better, but for street driving springs will be fine. You don't necessarily have to get Tein or a huge name brand, just make sure they're SAE 9524 steel. I've had good experiences with H&R springs, and some of my friends love Eibach. Both not too expensive.

you're not going to improve handling with off the shelf lowering springs.

Coilovers. The stock shock will go regardless if you are on the track or not.

I had lowering springs on stock shocks and have recently switched to coilovers on Koni shocks. I like the ride much better and I can adjust the height.

Bilstein PSS9 coilovers.

Adjustable dampening, adjustable ride height, not too harsh of a ride (better than AP1), better than stock handling, great quality, decent price.

You've really been flooding the boards with these suspension questions lately!

If you aren't going to track your car seriously, then a good set of lowering springs will serve you just fine, lower your center of gravity, slightly improve handling, and make your car look better

I wasted money by buying kg/mm springs first and then buying some coilovers later.

If all you are going to do is street driving then springs only will probably get the job done. If you plan on track days or auto-x I wouldn't recommend the spring only route.
