I'm a potential first-time S2K owner and am interested in a car with the following Carfax info:

Can anyone guess why this vehicle may have been sold by four different dealers at auction over the last year? I'm a novice at this, so maybe that is typical, but it doesn't seem right and is probably a red flag. Thoughts?

Carfax doesn't allow you to post a link to a report. You have to copy it and host it elsewhere. While I wouldn't want to see four trips to auctions in a year, it happens sometimes. However, I think this is more likely a data entry error, especially if the report says it was at the same auction site all four times.

 

The specific auction isn't listed, but the dealers are all different. Avoiding this one.
