Default Suzuka Blue Touch-Up Paint Update: Oct 30th

Touch-up paint for our Suzuka Blue now has an ETA of October 30;

No dealerships will have it before then.

This probably should have been posted in the Wash and Wax forum, but I figured it would get more eyeballs before it got moved over to the other neighborhood...

Yeah, I got an email from HandA saying the same thing..... this is just plain ridiculous! This color will have been out for a year by the time this touch up paint is released!

I know. So far I've got no need to touch up anything, so I've been lucky with no nicks or scrapes.

It comes in small bottles with the brush attached to the cap. Just like the days when we used to use model paint to paint our Revell model cars with.

Y'know, I haven't bought touch up paint in several years, but it's around $10 or so. Someone I'm sure will come up with the exact price. You can check on H and A Accessories online.

I have a UK spec '02 Nuerburgring Blue Metallic (1st July 2002) which I believe is very similar (same?) as Suzuka Blue.
After a stone chip on the bonnet (US=hood) - on the very first drive home from the dealer, the dealer got me a free can of touch up paint, *BUT* using it is an absolute pig. It's *almost* impossible to get a good match with the car! Typically the touched up areas look very grey compared with the original. I ended up removing the touch up paint in two areas, since the nicks are less obvious like that.

For info, the paint can has the number: "08703 B 513 MHE"
