I have black and have used Meguires Gold Class Swirl remover/clearcoat prep. I had bad swirl marks, but this stuff worked for me. You may just need to rub more, don't just apply it and wipe it off. Also, use (if you decide to stay with Meguires) the polish after the Swirl remover, and then the wax.
I'm with stevens on the Zymol. Get the Zymol Car wash and wash the car, then get the HD Cleanse and clean the car again. Order up some Japon wax and put a coat on. Your car will look like glass (I'm one of the black cars stevens was talking about). Just don't use alot of Zymol wax - alittle goes a long way!
Zymol is a proven product, not to say that Zaino isn't good, but if Zymol is good enough for Ralph Lauren and his Pebble Beach winning Bugattis, it is good enough for the S!!!

Dude, I have a black/red and it looks great. I just use regular old Meguairs right now. I tried the swirl remover stuff, but it requires LOTS of elbow grease to get the swirls out.
I've also noticed that in harsh light (flourescent or mid day with parking lot background), the black looks a tiny bit...smokey. However, I am convinced that this is normal. I've watched this closely. In the morning and in the evening, the car looks amazing.
Hey, are you going to meet up with krazik to do the dyno thing in MountainView on Monday? I'm gonna go up there with my car and you can look at it there and judge for yourself.

well...i tried the meguiars yesterday wheil the sun was going down...and to my surprise it looked like the swirls were slowly diminishing. that was in some in-direct sunlight. so i come to work this morning...park the car, hop out...look at the places i applied the swirl remover....and waddaya know...it's swirled like mad. it's not a harsh as the rest of the car...just alot more swirls, but much finer. almost looks smudgy...
any ideas?
my zaino is on the way...but i figure if these products can't do much of anything...zaino is going to have a tough time as well...
thanx again guys
