I am so close to ordering that front end.... I just have to wait to hear from the insurance company first to see what I need to do.

Our bodyshop is Ultimate Autobody in Long Island. We paid $500 to have the J's Racing front lip molded and painted.

There are updated pictures of the car on Overboost.com under York Hot Import Daze and on Urbanracer.com under Import Xpression show.

amartin...I saw a similar pic (here somewhere????) that showed the car in even light and noticed the same thing. Almost looked like the clear coat didn't match. Definitely looked different than the rest of the car.

It's not you.

WARNING TO ALL WHO ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING FRP KITS

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING

Fibreglass is extremely rigid. If you hit something (ie. the ground), the paint will come off (best case scenario), bits of the lip will get scraped off (2nd best scenario), or you get a crack (worse case).

Urethane is the best as it is flexible enough not to crack.

Personally I would stay away from FRP front lips, just personal experience.
