Well... I have the t1r 63mm... It's loud but not crazy or annoying loud. It has a very agressive sound and sounds amazing. The drone isn't too bad at all (I think my test pipe helps)

And the bumper melting I've seen on s2ki from the tip being so close/in contact.

If you run a test pipe this could happen... I dont have this issue but sometimes the bumper does get a little dirty (brownish) but no melting.

Well... It's one of the lighter exhaust's out there
All single exhausts are relatively light in comparison...

Would it cost more or the same as the Sparrow?

sign up sheet has been added. Ben wants 30 people to produce this. Not only would it be a 70mm dual, but there will only be 30 produced.

you are correct... By it's very nature this will be heavier than the T1R 63mm and very likely many dual exhausts out there. Performance impact will also likely be marginal. How much do dual exhausts gain in hp, 3-5hp? Going to 70mm over 63mm won't really help the NA crowd and if you're turbo why not go for a custom 3inch dual if you want a dual it'll be more effective. Overall you're looking at making an exahust that's

1. Heavier (larger diameter piping + simlar gauge piping)
2. Louder (70mm v 63mm)
3. Marginal performance impact for NA (the Y hurts performance much more than diameter restriction)
4. Costs more
5. Looks the same as the T1R 63mm sparrow

Why again would you buy this over the existing sparrow?
