I have heard that many people have yet to have problems with the T1R setup in terms of dealing with the police.

There's definate potential for traffic stops with this exhaust. I ended up selling mine because I thought it was too loud.

I've been pulled over once in Aliso Viejo. It wasn't for loudness, it was for visual. He pulled me over for "going to slow." Well doh I accelerated slow because he started behind me.

i moved to LV about 5months ago. I drove all around Cali before that and never
had problems with getting pulled over. I was back in LA about 3 weeks ago.

I was driving down highland to sunset blvd and drove right passed some PO. they didn't with my tinted windows, my no front licensce plate or my roaring too fast and furious T1R.

T1R is not too loud. its has a nice sound to it. im thinking of selling mine. i haven't decided yet. i guess i will wait to see how it looks with the single exhuast cap that Rick's is lagging on.

This exhaust is not that loud. It may sound a bit loud in the cockpit because it drones a little, but during normal driving it's definitely not loud. I doubt you'd be bothered unless the cop was really desperate and looking for something stupid to pull you over for. If you run it through the gears at full bore, it is quite a bit louder than the stock exhaust, but then you'd probably be pulled over for a "vehicle performance display". The silencer helps quite a bit with volume, but it also makes a weird farting sound and REALLY, REALLY takes power away. I was amazed at how sluggish the car was in VTEC with the silencer in. It really feels like there's an eggplant shoved up your tailpipe.

The exhaust isn't loud for a single, especially when you keep the cat.

Now just remember to put on some heat tape to prevent the bumper from melting. A little common sense goes a long way.
