Default T1R Half Shaft Spacers

We finally got the T1R half shaft spacers in. Here are the specs of it :

Specifications:
-CNC machined Forged aluminum (anodized black)
-10mm thickness
-comes with high tension steel (black coated) and stainless nut
-Part number lasered on the part for authentication
-no need to remove driveshaft for installation
**approx. 15mins for installation on both sides**-Availability : IN STOCK !

Q: Why do you need them ?
A: When lowering a S2000 , its driveshaft angle will definitely need re-adjustments due to the modifications applied, in this case, the lowering of the suspension. This is due to the fact that lowering a S2000 creates unwanted space in between the driveshaft roller and spider (inside of the driveshaft), causing the inboard joint to unevenly wear out. With the installation of T1R Half shaft spacers, it will prevent the driveshaft from losing its regular position and it is highly recommended for any lowered S2000. (information off AJR site)

Here's some quick installation pictures.
Install would take probably 30 mins or less.

I'm assuming you'll need to realign the car after installation correct?

so basically all you have to do is uncrew all the existing bolts and slip the spacers in and install provided bolts?? that simple? are these easier to install than the motorklasse half shaft spacers?

Yes. It will fit all years from 00-07 AP1 and AP2.

I assume you are referring to wheel alignment, correct ? If so, installing the half shaft spacers will not affect the wheel alignment because you are not unbolting the suspension components.

Yes. Unscrew the factory bolts, pull out the half shaft then slide the T1R spacers in it and bolt it back together.

All other one piece spacers will require to pull the half shaft out which will take atleast an hour or 2.

What effect does the amount of lowering have? If I'm lowered 2 inches I'd need thicker spacers than if I'm only lowered an inch, right? What size spacers do I need if I'm only lowered 1/2". One size spacer cannot possibly be right for every ride height. If that were the case the stock spacing would be fine. How do we determine the thickness of the spacer we need based on the amount of drop we're running?
