Default Tail Light Condensation!!!

This weekend I washed, claybarred, polished and waxed my car for the first time... It looks and feels like black marble!!!

But... after the wash, I noticed that I have condensation in my left rear taillight... I expect this from an older car, or some crappy altezza lights, but not a 2000 honda!!! Needless to say, I am very distraught...

How big a chance do I have for honda to replace my tails? One of them are also fading to a light pink!

Take it to your dealer. Honda has issued a recall for MY2000 faded tail lights. I just had mine replaced last week for free.

Do you know the recall number for it? Also, how faded were your tails? Mine are faded just a little bit

Here is a whole thread on the fading issue. If you jump to the last page you will see that Honda has just fixed the problem.

Mine were as bad as it gets, almost white.

I had my rear left replaced about 2 yrs ago. The dealer replaced the rear right for fading when the car was out of warrantee. There have been several threads on fading and leaking. Intersting to note that it is always the rear left that leaks.

mns2k,
That is strange, my left rear would get condensation in it too. According to the thread I posted the link to, you should wait until you receive a letter regarding taillight replacement from Honda.
